Wow Kathy! That is one of the greatest faces on a dragon I've ever seen. I was just mesmerized by the way you made him look untamed yet tamed at the same time. Your detail and colors are amazing...thanks for letting us into your magical world again.

Awesome dragon! Great detail, and the checker board "scales" are an interesting touch. And the texture in Layla's shirt is nice!

Wow Kathy, Layla is amazing. How beautiful.

Thank you for understanding me. And thank you for reminding me that it is only time to time that I lose the plot and not all of the time.

Love you.

Lovely illo. Very nice colors. I wish the girl's eyes were as intense as the dragon's--he steals the show.

There are already a billion comments on here about how good this is, but I couldn't help but add another one because it really is that good. Your attention to detail is great, and the dragon is so well-imagined. Beautiful.

This is wonderful! A beautiful illustration, no doubt. It doesn't hurt that our newborn daughter's name is Layla as well. heh.

How come SHE gets to have a dragon? This is such a lovely illustration. The fabric of her tunic is just amazing. This needs to be on a book.
