Your drawings make me very envious! I must know what medium you use... This is a beautiful picture and i wouldn't be at all surprised if the people at Illustration Friday pick your image for the homepage next week!
Wonderful take on the prompt and I love the ocean's breeze and the salty smell that comes with it and you can feel all of that in this illustration. Peacefully lovely!
Kathy I am so happy that I used your picture and you don't mind.
I appologize that I didn't put your name because this was from (did you read my post on Feb 5th on art heist) when I didn't know where I got the art from.
I actually was thinking of using a couple of your last week that I knew were yours but I didn't have time to ask you, it was a different picture of the wolf and red riding hood.
The new ones I copies I have put your name in case I used them.
Your work, I LOVE.
I love that picture of memories, I have had it so long and was thinking to use it for myself and a story about me because it touches me so much but then the opportunity came about the anniversary and I knew right away what I was going to use.
Kathy thanks for letting me use your pictures, and if you look at the Memories post I have corrected it by adding that it is from you. So many people love that picture.
I am rambling because I have a headache.
I will let you go, while I am reasonably still making sense.
Your art never ceases to amaze me. I love your lines, color, attention to detail. You have such smooth transitions between colors, but yet so much texture which adds to the uniqueness of each piece.
I love her sweet freckles and the tufted clouds. I can almost feel the breeze. Your work is always so well done. It sets a high standard for color pencil art. Thank you for your kind comment on my IF entry.
Well, it certainly worked putting pencil to paper. I love how linear this composition is, and the feeling of that breeze running through it. You can almost hear the SWISH!!! Thanks for sharing
I know this is somewhat a late comment, but it's also slightly irrelivant...but anyways, I really like the peace in this picture and I sort of feel like I am the subject...in a place I liked to be. I really think I have a picture of me in a similar place with a similar shirt...so, I'm feeling drawn to it.
