It's wonderful. I love your take on detach. The contrast of the color against the gray is very nice. My DH was looking over my shoulder this morning as I was checking out your blog. He usually isn't that impressed with other art blogs. He's a business guy who puts up with being dragged to art galleries. Well, you impressed him. He especilally likes your Illustration Friday "Poof!" Me too :)

Just stopping by looking through your blog, since you're not around this week. I realized that you and I love the use of black and white with a splash of color! It's the style I love best, in mine and yours! I think I began this from the first time I watch, the Wizard of Oz, starring Judy Garland. There is the scene that goes from black and white to color and it has always amazed me. From that day forward, I've always been fascinated with it! It's wonderful to see that in some else's art, too! There is something magical about it, and which is why my tag line is "Illuminating the black and white of life with vivid color". Hey, I guess, I just miss your work. Get that computer working girl! :) Peace.
