Hey Kathy! Thanks for stopping by. I love this. She is so adorable. I love the intent expression and her shoes. But my fave is the sheild! That is so cool! Nice work. You have my vote for this week.
I loved drawing the shield Jack! I spent a little time looking at children's drawings of monsters, I love how a child's mind works..big eyes and big teeth!! :)
Hi Kathy thanks for stopping by my blog! I absolutely adore your work, what a talent you have :) This little lady looks ready for anything - bring on the monsters! SO cute :)
Hi Kathy - I just found your blog and became your new follower, I love your work!
This is so sweet and adorable - I also love your technique, I see you work in colored pencils - I do too, but haven't tried mixing them with watercolor yet. I looks like the Betty's background is watercolor?
Everything is blended together so beautifully and the details - her shield, the cracks in her sword, I love it! Cheers, Susan
Hello Susan, I used watercolour to create the background before colouring Betty with pencil.. I don't often use watercolour but I am hoping to play around with it a bit more as I love the effects it creates.
