I loved drawing the shield Jack! I spent a little time looking at children's drawings of monsters, I love how a child's mind works..big eyes and big teeth!! :)

Hi Kathy - I just found your blog and became your new follower, I love your work!This is so sweet and adorable - I also love your technique, I see you work in colored pencils - I do too, but haven't tried mixing them with watercolor yet. I looks like the Betty's background is watercolor?Everything is blended together so beautifully and the details - her shield, the cracks in her sword, I love it! Cheers, Susan
