What a beautiful illustration, wonderfully atmospheric - love the delicate landscape detail. I've always been captivated by scenes of mountains that are in fact sleeping giants... this is a great original take on that theme :)

Whoaaaa! This is utterly amazing! What a brilliant concept. She has such a sad and pensive expression. I just want to give her a hug and ask for her story. The reflections in the water are excellent!

Thankyou everyone for all of your kind comments they are really appreciated...

Enigma,
I enjoy using all sorts of media but I especially like using pastels, watercolour and of course coloured pencils and often use them all in one image. But I love the textures and effects I can achieve with pencils so I tend to use them the most.

So melancholy, but so beautiful!
I love how it's like she's been sad for so long that the landscape has grown upon her making her a solid part of the sad world.
